A lovely western-style decorated tea salon. As situated in Obuse, they are specialised in chestnut (Marron). My girlfriend absolutely loved the dessert here especially for the choucream. The choice of fresh juices and hot tea pairs perfectly witht their sweets.

nice cafe, but we had to wait quite a while for seats. Arrived at 4pm and waited about half an hour, only 3 people ahead of us. Mont Blanc tart is nice and representative of Obuse town, known for its chestnuts. The vanilla pudding with chestnut syrup was also nice. Tea in a pot for one person, we asked for refill but wasn’t allowed or maybe lost in translation. Cafe looks antique and has many nice desserts on display.

A cake store located in Obuse, a famous chestnut producing area. It can be used as a coffee shop or taken out. I tried their famous Mont Blanc, which had an exquisite and refined taste with just the right amount of sweetness. The contrast between the soft chestnut cream and the cookie base is delightful. The chestnut cream puffs are also surprisingly delicious.

We loved all the chestnut that we tried! Drinks were expensive, as it’s usually is in kissaten but the desserts were cheap compared to it. Extra point for the good service and great cleaning during Covid19 Times!

Great spot to rest after walking around town. The classic mont blanc is great. We also tried the new fancier version of the mont blanc which had ice cream on a cake base covered with a caramel glaze. Was great on a hit afternoon but we did t really taste much chestnut in this one. Maybe there's no chestnut in it?
